Labels fading?
Common labels lose readability from abrasion, grease or solvent.

Industrial printers, durable labels (abrasion, grease, handling), resin ribbons and scanners to identify parts, part numbers, batches and stock. We advise based on volume and warehouse.

In auto parts, a poorly chosen label can cause misidentified parts, part-number errors or loss of origin traceability. That is why we define printer, label, ribbon and reading based on warehouse environment and handling.
At Gustavo D. Campos we help you build the complete system to identify parts, components, part numbers and stock.
Most go unnoticed until they cause a wrong shipment, an unidentified part or a stock-out. Catching them early prevents escalation.
Common labels lose readability from abrasion, grease or solvent.
A small printer can't handle a mid-size auto-parts turnover.
A regular label peels off and sticks onto another part without a trace: the part number no longer guarantees anything.
Without a collector, part inventory is done on a spreadsheet and gets outdated.
The wrong ribbon doesn't withstand handling with grease or solvent.
The auto-parts label is small and has to carry a lot: part number, supplier, batch, quantity and a 2D code. This is what goes on it and what solves each item.
If the carmaker asks for an Odette label, the printer has to be a 6" industrial: no desktop unit will produce it.
The auto-parts flow in 4 stages: from part reception to customer dispatch.
Part intake with part number, supplier and batch for clear identification from the first stock movement.
Controlled stockIdentification in racks, drawers, shelves and aisles of the warehouse to speed up search and reduce errors.
Faster pickingFast reading in order preparation with portable collector that walks the warehouse without returning to the central system.
Fewer build errorsBox, parcel and carrier tracking code label for integration with courier or own logistics.
Dispatch without reworkPerformance depends on printer, label, ribbon and scanner withstanding the warehouse environment.
Consult recommended combination

We help you define the right combination before you buy.
The clearer these variables are when you ask, the more concrete and useful the recommendation will be.
Small, medium or large spare part, or a complex component.
Warehouse with grease, solvent or dust: polyester with resin.
Long alphanumeric or small DataMatrix: may need 300 dpi.
If the part must not be relabeled: security (VOID) label.
Integration with the management system and catalog.
Counting with a mobile computer or a scanner depending on how many positions you have.
With this information we can recommend better.
The questions we hear most when someone is building or upgrading a labeling system for this sector.
For mid-to-high volume warehouses Zebra ZT411, SATO CL4NX or Honeywell PM45 usually work well: metal chassis, connectivity to integrate with catalog ERP and wide width. For small operations, semi-industrial alternatives like Zebra ZD421T or Honeywell PD45 exist.
For auto parts we recommend synthetic labels (polyester or polypropylene) with resin ribbon: they withstand abrasion, grease, solvent and intense handling. Common thermal labels do not survive that environment. The choice depends on the part type and the expected durability.
If your warehouse has multiple aisles or racks and orders are picked walking around, a portable collector like Zebra TC22 or Honeywell EDA52 reduces errors and time. For counter or checkout with fixed code, a handheld scanner like Zebra DS2208 is enough.
Tell us what type of parts you label, what volume you handle and what environment your warehouse has. We will recommend printer, label, ribbon and scanner based on your operation.
