Price changes too slow?
Manual price marking delays restocking and creates errors.

Manual label dispensers, compact printers, price labels and POS scanners for stores, supermarkets and chains. We advise based on volume, label format and operation type.

In retail, a misplaced label can cause price discrepancies, customer complaints or lost sales. That is why we define dispenser, label and reading based on the store type and the volume of daily price changes.
At Gustavo D. Campos we help you build the complete system for prices, shelves, counter and inventory.
Most go unnoticed until they cause a complaint at checkout, a price difference or a stock-out. Catching them early prevents escalation.
Manual price marking delays restocking and creates errors.
Weak adhesives fail on plastic packaging, cold or film.

Basic scanners fail with on-screen codes or glossy packaging.

A home printer can't handle a supermarket or chain volume.
Without a portable scanner, inventory is done on a spreadsheet and fills with errors.
Both are right. The hand labeller wins on a small shelf and on fast repricing; thermal wins once the barcode matters and volume goes up.
Many shops use both: Printex for the shelf, thermal for the barcode. It is not one or the other.

Consult recommended combination

We help you define the right combination before you buy.
The clearer these variables are when you ask, the more concrete and useful the recommendation will be.
Price by hand with a labeler or a printed barcode to scan at checkout.
How many prices change: up to a few hundred a week, a labeler is enough.
Each one takes a different format and adhesive.
If you take QR payments or read phone screens, the scanner must be 2D.
USB or RS-232 scanner depending on the point-of-sale system.
Counting with a mobile computer on the floor or a scanner in the stockroom.
With this information we can recommend better.
The questions we hear most when someone is building or upgrading a labeling system for this sector.
For mid-volume compact direct thermals like Zebra ZD220, ZD230 or Brother TD-4420DN work well: fast, economical and easy to use at counter or backroom. For a small store with low turnover, a manual dispenser may be enough. We help you evaluate volume and format before choosing.
For POS, a 1D/2D imager scanner like Zebra DS2208 or Datalogic QuickScan is recommended: they read printed and on-screen codes (QR, discounts, loyalty). For hands-free, presentation options exist. For mobile inventory, a portable collector is recommended.
Typically thermal or illustration labels with permanent or removable adhesive based on packaging. For cold or film, extra adhesive is recommended. For scale we use specific direct thermal. The choice depends on the product and the expected label life.
Tell us what type of store you have, how many price changes you make per day and what label format you use. We will recommend dispenser, label and scanner based on your operation.
